have done is I have leverage my site by combining two different models
that are affiliate marketing and adsense. I am currently planning in
writing ebook and market it via this site too. Why am I doing so, what
is the benefit of doing this way.
Well the answer is you need to leverage your online
business model in few models. You could start with one model, but try to
diversify in long run. The reason is simple, don't keep all your eggs in one
basket. At anytime you need more than one income source. Therefore, by having
few sources of incomes, you will have security that if anything should happen to
one of the source, you will still have others to provide you the much needed
income.

For example, if you have only one source of income
say adsense only. Your website is doing well, and you are getting good income.
However, due to some guys keep on clicking the ads in your site for no reasons,
Google becomes suspicious and decide to suspend your account temporarily.
Imagine what will happen, you will lose all you income since you were depending
only on one method of income. But if you have other source and lets say
affiliate programs, you may still have income coming.
Now, how you could do this is simple. Write your
website with what ever topic and content that you have decided, choose the basic
business model that you would like to start with and build the rest of the site.
Once the basic is done, review the site and place other business models in
certain areas within the site from time to time.
Lets see an example:

Say you would like to write a website selling
flower seeds and gardening tips. Now, you decide to sell the seeds on ebay and
selling on ebay will be your main business model. The gardening tips as a
complement for your business. You will be promoting your seeds on ebay, and you
could drive traffics from your ebay bids to your site. People who are interested
in buying the seeds seals a deal with you and knows that your site provides
gardening advice plus may want to come again just to get gardening tips.
To leverage better your site, if you have Google
adsense on your site and some affiliate partnerships with gardening equipment
companies, you could potentially make additional income. People who comes again to
your site for advice on gardening might get interested in some adsense ads on
your site or even purchase gardening equipment thru your affiliate partners.
Again, even if you are not selling them any seeds when they come the second
time, but you made money thru adsense or/and affiliate marketing. |

marketing on you site, you may have missed the second time income potentials.
That's why LEVERAGING is good and should be practiced as much as possible.
