Forums & Online Groups
This is another way of getting traffics by letting
people know about your website. Some online forums or online groups such as
Yahoo Groups
and
Google Groups
provides space for you to join a selected group of
people who may have the same interest as your website.
For example, if you are a cat lover and has a website
that talks about cat, there are forums which only talks about cat.
Join the group, starting talking and slowly introduce
your website. Do not start by pushing and showing off your website, but
gradually tell them what is your personal website. If you push your site too
fast, you may be push aside since they will think you are trying just to make
money from the forums. They must know that you are a cat lover too.
Join as many forums as you can and promote gradually.
How to find forums - to find a forum related to your
interest or website, do a search engine enquire. For
example, if you are looking for a forums talking about
adsense, just do a search engine query "adsense forums". A
list of links relating to adsense forums will show. See
